My memory of Eid Al-Fitr in Mindanao… I was happy, exciting moments, with kids learning the language and culture, courage and sincerity, D’waa, Al Fatiha, Moslem spirituality, scaping from Marine badyguards just to go for swimming, bachelors’ night every Friday, gunfires! Class debates with students, pasakalye sa canteen with young kids, dances, … again, learning the Language!
Happy Eid Al-Fitr!
Maunouno ka kamo mga bagay ko ha Jolo, Sulu, mga batabata ha Notre Dame Kasulutan, ha Patikul? Magsukol tuod kanyo katan-katan ha karayangan nyo kako… will not forget those days being with you… See you soon!

Hi Vince. The closest I got to Eid was through my Muslim friend (ex boyfriend), and he wasn’t that much of a devout religious. So are you a native of Mindanao? San? My friend is originally from Pagadian but his family transferred to Zamboanga.

So you mean you’re a Muslim pala. Belated Eid Al-Fitr. Ang sarap ngang bigkasin, eh. EID AL-FIT R … hehehe. i never had any Muslim friend kaya wala akong idea sa culture niyo.
Have a nice day!
