“I retreat…” is usually a disposition to prepare one’s self to rest, and mostly this is the time when I’m confronted by my thoughts of what happened during the day. It’s a spiritual experience when a “review of the day” is done. This is living life day by day.
For me, living life to the full requires good recollection and resolution. This is not necessary to be a diary but a collection of reflected ordinary experiences that somehow touched me and finally guide me in life.
These may be about my interaction with other people, about things I saw and what they are trying to convey, about my past experiences; bad and good, about my learnings, and what I have heard or read that struck me.
However, recollections have sense of humors, too. I may write about funny things I did or saw, or usual conversations with others. Lastly, it may be about my angst, frustrations, compassion, prayers and relationships.
Thus, I am writing my personal blogs to recollect, contempate and to retreat for the next day.
Napaka-serious naman yata masyado ito…syempre, lahat na gusto kong isulat pwede na rin dito. At least, ma-express lang ang lahat ng dapat i-express.
